Selection of 82 barrels
We harvested this selection of Tempranillo grapes in the last ten days of October 2012, from vineyards in Rioja Alavesa (Laguardia and Navaridas) that are over fifty years old, giving the wine its personality and character.
After a careful aging process in a balanced mix of French and American oak barrels, we obtain this Crianza de Alta Expresión.
Cherry red in color, highly intense, with garnet hues, abundant tears, bright and lively.
On the nose, we find powerful aromas with intense notes of aging, vanilla, toast, and spices. There is a fruity component of ripe grapes that is well balanced with the oak.
Good structure and balance on the palate with nerve, personality, and quality tannins.
